Privacy policy

Your footage is
not the product.

RallyIQ keeps raw training media local by default and limits cloud processing to the analysis you request.

Effective and last updated July 21, 2026

01

The short version

RallyIQ works without an account. Match videos and detailed pose frames stay on your device unless you explicitly send a session for cloud analysis.

Optional iCloud sync stores selected durable app data in your private iCloud database. RallyIQ does not sell personal information or use your data for advertising.

02

Data kept on your device

Raw match and practice videos, pose frames, the current racquet-bench configuration, and temporary interface state are stored locally. Deleting the app may remove local data that has not been exported or synced.

RallyIQ also keeps a per-session access token on your device when you use cloud analysis. The token authorizes only that analysis session and is not included in iCloud sync.

03

Cloud analysis

When you choose cloud analysis, RallyIQ uploads the selected video, calibration landmarks, a random session identifier, and related session details to the RallyIQ analysis service. This content is used only to process the requested analysis and return the result.

Raw video and calibration uploads are deleted when analysis reaches a completed or failed state. Derived analysis data is automatically deleted after 30 days. Authenticated deletion requests are retained on-device and retried until the service confirms deletion.

04

Optional iCloud sync

If iCloud sync is enabled, RallyIQ may sync session metadata and analysis results, practice logs and routines, training-plan and learning state, stripped swing-session data, and saved racquet builds through Apple CloudKit.

Raw videos, raw pose frames, unsaved racquet-bench changes, and temporary practice interface state are not uploaded to CloudKit. Synced data is stored in the private iCloud database associated with your Apple ID and is also subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

05

Service providers and disclosure

RallyIQ uses Apple CloudKit for optional sync and Fly.io infrastructure to operate cloud analysis. These providers process data only to deliver their services. The RallyIQ privacy page is hosted by Vercel, which may process standard request logs and aggregate site-usage data.

Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate notice. It is not sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising.

06

Your choices

You can keep sessions entirely on-device by not using cloud analysis, and you can turn iCloud sync off in RallyIQ settings. iCloud content can also be managed through your Apple account and device settings.
